The people here are ... The people here are friendly and have grown from the horrors of the Caribbean's past to become a diverse country with? a strong Caymanian heritage and growing Culture.
There were slaves ... There were slaves all over the Caribbean, the? US etc. So what's your point? If you knew the history of the Cayman Islands you'd know their slavery was not like other countries. Don't get me wrong I'm not standing up for slavery, it's wrong but there were no sugar plantations and the little slaves they did have were set free before emancipation in the Caribbean and WAY before the US.
